Our Love Story
How We Met
Reggie and I had crossed paths several times prior to our first official meeting in 2013 at a boat party in DC where we ended up riding in the same car. During the first meeting we didn’t talk much because Reggie was very shy and quiet. Subsequently we met a few other times through mutual friends, and he finally mustered the courage to ask me on our first date in 2013 at PF Changs. We kept it casual and friendly, then in 2015 we officially got in a relationship.
We’ve had a lot of experiences together from trying out many different restaurants to traveling around the world. Throughout the highs and lows and a few breakups we still always found our way back to each other. After going our separate ways for two years we rekindled again in February of 2023; We kept it between the two of us and worked on getting stronger in our relationship and setting goals. Marriage was our ultimate goal, so we took all the necessary steps to getting there. Fast forward to this year our families got together, we told them of our intentions and set the date!
We look forward to starting this new chapter of our lives together and becoming one.

Adwoa and I met 15 years ago on a group trip to ocean city. We bonded over a cooking mama game and mutual friends lol. Then we find out almost 10 years after the fact that we are actually family through marriage haha! Adwoa has been my only travel partner, adventure buddy, sounding board, my second home and matching twin for as long as I can remember. I have watched her grow and mature into the woman she is today through all the ups and downs life has brought. On this next chapter of life I wish you and Reggie many years of joy and laughter. I have known Reggie since we were kids. We've shared countless moments together, from eating our lunches at Morning Star to making his famous two-by-four stew with rice. He has been there for me through my darkest times, and vice versa, and I am proud to say we both pulled through.
One thing I know for sure is that Reggie is the kind of friend who would do anything for you in a heartbeat. He is always looking out for others and is one of the most selfless people I know. Adwoa is blessed to have a guy like Reggie, and I wish you both nothing but happiness. God has been good, and I pray His mercies shine on you both. Reggie has grown to be my little brother whom I have been very close with throughout all of our maturing years. He is someone who I can genuinely trust and count on in emergency situations. This has extended to the point that he is on my kid's school contact, and for that very reason I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. He’s the only one that has physically witnessed me in tears and was successful at genuinely consoling me. I am so proud of him, and happy for him for taking on this new journey in life.
